XA.5Y.F Semi-Micro Analytical Balances are used in quality control processes, where accurate weighing of filters are used to assess filtration efficiency. Or to calculate the mass of particles retained by the filter. This task is made possible by a weighing pan for filters with which these balances are equipped in addition to a Ø 90 mm open pan.

The RADWAG Ellipsis XA 5Y.F series is designed to meet the highest requirements for determination of mass. With features like automatic internal calibration, semi-automatic LevelSENSING leveling system, 10 in. touchscreen display, multiple data bases, smart minimum weight, integrated ionizer, a host of communication interfaces, uncompromising user validation, 210 xx 245 mm pan for filter weighing plus much more. The XA 5Y.F series Semi-Micro Balances are 21 CFR part 11 compliant as a standalone unit.

Semi-micro balances are commonly used in high requirement facilities and are usually used with an anti-vibration table.
